The brooch on the turban is Annie's, my great-grandmothers. She was bought up in the beginning of the 20th century and you can see her in all her glory in a picture down below. She and my great-grandfather loved a masquerade so the picture is probably from that kind of happening. Or maybe from a revue from 1920:s. Lets just say I think I got my love for spectacles from her.

So as may have noticed, I'm a sucker for vintage lingerie. This pair of lace shorts are from the beginning of the 1900:s. They are perfect as shorts for the summer, made in strong cotton and in impeccable condition. Fantastic for being over 100 years old, right?
They cost me 5 dollars at a flea market in Solna, Sweden. The flea market that I have mentioned before (a great one).
The top is a bullet bra from the 1950:s. The bullet bra got it's name from the shape of it's cups, it gives you a nice 1950:s shape when you wear it underneath clothes, but this piece can also be used as just a lace top really.
Well, I should head to bed now. Tomorrow I have an early day baking for friends and then it's premier for one of the biggest and best flee markets in the Stockholm area for the summer: Galoppis! I have waited all year.

This vintage top is bought in the awesome boutique Kiloshop in Paris. It is such an amazing vintage store were you buy your clothes by its weight! So it's super cheap to buy tops, dresses and accessories but think twice about the jeans and jackets.
The rose is a brooch from H&M and the bow is bought in a flee market in Solna, Sweden for 1 dollar. The shorts was a find: a pair of topshop shorts for like 2 dollars. The leather jacket has been mine since I was 6 years old, so it is super soft.
Hope you like the mint!

The city is in a really pretty stage right know. To get the best view you have to see it in the morning without all the stress and the mountain of people.
This is a pair of 1930:s silk shorts. In one of the pictures you can see the hand stitched patch with the former owners name: Vera Bolinder. It has a gorgeous flower pattern and tiny buttons. I fell in love with them. They were sold to me by a dealer in the antique fair in Sweden, and they are in mint condition.

Yep, the spring has arrived and so has the summer wardrobe!
This is a 1960:s vintage dress, bought in Paris. I really adore that the colors are so clear even after so many years. The short jeans jacket is my mother's from the beginning. I think she bought it in the 80:s.
I have a love for patent shoes since I was a kid. I found these ones in a flee market in Stockholm last year for 3 dollars, the same flee market that I was going to this day (last sunday). It is in Solna, Sweden; Megaloppis. It is usually only twice a year and I always, always find great stuff!

This is a vintage top that mix two of my favorite things: a sailor collar and polka dots. The brand is called Amy TOO!, which is quite adorable in it's own right. The high waisted shorts from Topshop was a find from a flee market last summer. And soon, soon the period of flee markets, antique shops and second hands every weekends begins for real now when the weather is here!

The easter is here! And so is all the candy, and the sun! But the spring isn't really here yet.
This vintage sweather is bought in a flee market, it's from the 1960:s and I am in love with it! The shorts are from topshop and those heels is bought from a friend for 1 dollar and a pair of sunglasses.

2 days ahead
So who doesn't miss spring? But you have to make the best of what the winter offers you - and use those woolen shorts as much as you can!
They are from the brand St.Emile and I bought them in a thrifted store in Stockholm for like 5 dollars and to my surprise they were made of cashgora! So they are super soft and super warm! And I always wanted a pair of grey high waisted shorts.
The top is a typical bullet bra from the 1950:s. It is just lovely, though an older generation get quite chocked when they see me walking around in just "undies". The hat, also in wool, is from about the same period. I bought it at a second hand store Myrorna in Stockholm some years ago.
Hope you enjoy, kids! It's time for a cup of hot chocolate (also one of the best things with winter).

Birthday wishes
Yay! My birthday came and went and so much pleasure came with it!
This was for the party: 'Decadent Drag - a Queen's masquerade'. The night was magic!
To my surprise I found the perfect dress on sale at Bikbok. Then there is just some fake lashes as long as highways, some fake brows and sparkles, sparkles, sparkles.
Hope you enjoy kids, cause I truly do!

Sequin seed
Well who doesn't love sale? And who doesn't love awesome sparkling green shorts? Right after christmas it was the perfect timing to find all the jewels that I'd been gazing at! The shorts are from H&M and the top I just ran into at Bikbok.
But I will warn you, the top made horrible sores when I wore it one night (sequin can do that to you) but I mean - the pieces were the perfect match. It reminds me of the cabaret.
And talk about cabaret, look at these girls (at 1.56)! Please give me the sailor outfit!
